Domestic violence is violence or physical abuse directed toward your spouse or domestic partner. It is not just hateful words towards eachother, bad arguments, or hitting. Theres so much more too it than people realize and the littlest touch or word can hurt someone easily. Most people dont think its that big of a deal, and we have better things to worry about. They obviously dont know how many people get hurt or die because of domestic abuse. 2 million injuries and 1,300 deaths are caused each year from domestic violence. Despite the people that are too afraid to tell anyone, because they are scared of what might happen to not only them, but family, or other loved ones.
Domestic violence can happen to anyone, it doesnt matter what your race is, how old you are, or male or female. Not only is it not good for the person getting abused, but its not okay for the person promoting it. If they repeatedly keep doing so, and the person getting abused doesnt do anything about it, they’ll just think its okay and keep doing it.
